Multi-platinum rock band Barenaked Ladies have announced their first UK tour in three years, bringing their festive “Yuletide Ride” to eight cities across the country in December 2026. This marks the band’s long-awaited return to British shores following their massive “25 Years In The Atmosphere” North American run.
The tour will follow the successful format of the band’s sold-out Canadian run, blending staples like “One Week,” “If I Had a $1,000,000,” and “The Big Bang Theory Theme” with holiday favourites from their 2014 album Barenaked For The Holidays. Fans can expect seasonal originals like “Green Christmas” and “Elf’s Lament” alongside classic covers, delivered with the band’s signature virtuoso musicianship and quick-witted crowd rapport. Joining them as special guest for the duration of the tour is their long-time friend and touring colleague, Boothby Graffoe.
“We’re very excited to be returning to the UK just in time for the Holidays,” says frontman Ed Robertson. “We’ll be bringing the hits, the holiday favs, and a few tasty surprises with us.” The announcement follows a prolific period for the quartet, including the release of their 18th studio album In Flight and its acoustic companion EP, In Flight – Carry On.
We previously enjoyed the band’s live energy when we reviewed their live album BNL Rocks Red Rocks, though that was way back in 2016! Tickets for the “Yuletide Ride” go on general sale at 10am on Friday, 15th May, with a pre-sale available for Barenaked Bytes members earlier in the week.
