Can you believe it? Blazing Minds has been bringing you movies, reviews, interviews, entertainment, events, photography and plenty more since 2008!

As we celebrate 18 amazing years, it’s the perfect time to look back at some of the articles, photographs, events and moments that have helped make Blazing Minds what it is today.

Some of our memorable and popular articles include:

    Dunkirk – IMAX Review

    Then there are the photographs…

Over the years, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to photograph some amazing people and events such as Sci-Fi Weekender and other events, including:

    • Bands, musicians, actors and performers
    • Sci-Fi Weekender guests and crowds
    • Theatre productions and live events
    • Film festivals and special events across the UK

Sci-Fi Weekender became a particularly huge part of the Blazing Minds story, with me (Karen) covering the event year after year and eventually receiving the SFW Ambassador Award in 2022.

We’ve also covered theatre, including productions at Venue Cymru, Theatr Colwyn and Rhyl Pavilion, alongside countless local and national events.

And let’s not forget the interviews!

Over the years, Blazing Minds has chatted with actors, musicians, filmmakers, authors and entertainment personalities, with interviews continuing to be a major part of the website today.

    THE AWARDS!

2015 was a very special year when Blazing Minds won a UK Blog Award in the Individual Events category.

The site has also been recognised as one of the Top 10 UK Film Blogs, alongside other accolades and listings over the years.

And somehow, through all the changes in blogging, social media, websites and the entertainment industry…

    BLAZING MINDS IS STILL HERE!

From a little blog started in 2008 to an award-winning entertainment website covering film, TV, music, theatre, events, interviews, photography and more — what a journey it has been!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has read an article, shared a post, entered a competition, watched a video, liked a photograph, attended an event with us, supported the website or simply followed along for the ride.

18 years. Thousands of articles. Countless photographs. Hundreds of reviews. Loads of interviews. And so many amazing memories.

    Here’s to everything we’ve achieved since 2008…

    …and to whatever comes next!
