Over the years, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to photograph some amazing people and events such as Sci-Fi Weekender and other events, including:
- Bands, musicians, actors and performers
- Sci-Fi Weekender guests and crowds
- Theatre productions and live events
- Film festivals and special events across the UK
Sci-Fi Weekender became a particularly huge part of the Blazing Minds story, with me (Karen) covering the event year after year and eventually receiving the SFW Ambassador Award in 2022.
We’ve also covered theatre, including productions at Venue Cymru, Theatr Colwyn and Rhyl Pavilion, alongside countless local and national events.
And let’s not forget the interviews!
Over the years, Blazing Minds has chatted with actors, musicians, filmmakers, authors and entertainment personalities, with interviews continuing to be a major part of the website today.

2015 was a very special year when Blazing Minds won a UK Blog Award in the Individual Events category.
The site has also been recognised as one of the Top 10 UK Film Blogs, alongside other accolades and listings over the years.
