London-based progressive trio HAWXX have announced the first wave of UK headline dates for October 2026. Known for their high-octane performances and songs rooted in resistance and love, the band will be touring in support of their highly anticipated second album, The World Splits Open, which is due for release on 26th June 2026. Pre-orders are available now.
The upcoming record marks a departure from modern metal production norms, with the band abandoning click tracks and vocal automation in favour of a raw, intentional sound. Recorded at Middlefarm Studios in Devon with producer Pete Miles, the album weaves together alternative metal, punk, and traditional Greek music reflecting frontwoman Annouli’s heritage. The 10-track collection features recent singles “Macho Bullshit” and the politically charged “Resistance Is Justified”.
Speaking on the tour announcement, the band shared: “We are so excited to be back on the road again in October. As a DIY band, we have built up the most beautiful fanbase over the years and so the opportunity to see everyone again as well as make new friends feels very special. We will be playing songs of love, rage and resistance and continuing to carve out a brave space for the women and the queers.”
