Daydrunk reveals the moving new song, Arithmetic

Hailing from Coffs Harbour, Australia, “Daydrunk” delivers a deeply affecting piece of indie folk with “Arithmetic”. It’s a truly moving song that transforms personal trauma into something that can move anybody who listens to it.

… a beautifully organic indie folk track that turns raw emotion into something quietly unforgettable.

Daydrunk reveals the moving new song, Arithmetic

It’s organic at its core, with a delightful smattering of fingerpicked guitars, all wrapped up with those captivating vocal tones.

It’s a very emotional song with tones that reminded me of “Bon Iver” and “Sufjan Stevens”. “Daydrunk” is an artist who just confirms that statement I always seem to make about Australian acts. Whenever I hear an Australian act, I’m always blown away, regardless of the genre, sub-genre, or whatever else. I’m always blown away, and when I heard this song, it got me sitting down, focused, and hooked in from the outset.

This sounds like a great song for a road trip, driving through the sunset with your mates, or just sitting around the fire, enjoying your favourite people’s company. It is 100% a delight for your ears, so be sure to give this a play and spin the previous singles too.
