Unheard Music continues its journey of artistic freedom and underground expression with a new release from co-founding member Mona Chrome. Titled ‘Lost In The Ocean’, and featuring remixes from Pan-Pot and Plastic Robots, the release blends melodic Techno influences with atmospheric synth work and a vocal-led arrangement, adding another distinctive entry to Unheard Music’s growing discography.
‘Lost In The Ocean’ is crafted around evolving melodies, layered textures and a strong vocal presence, and is designed primarily as a listening-focused record while maintaining crossover appeal for club environments. The original showcases Mona Chrome’s ability to balance emotional depth with dance music functionality, creating a production that moves between personal listening and the dance floor.
Mona Chrome comments:“‘Lost In The Ocean’ is a very deeply personal record for me. When I was working on it, I wanted to capture that fragile feeling of being completely overwhelmed by your own emotions, like being isolated in the middle of a vast, deep sea. The vocal arrangement is the emotional heart of the track, and I’m incredibly proud of how Pan-Pot and Plastic Robots brought their own unique energy to the remixes.”
On remix duties, German duo Pan-Pot and Brazilian duo Plastic Robots each bring new perspectives to the release. Pan-Pot transform the original into a driving, dance floor-focused interpretation, preserving the original’s melodic foundations while channelling energy and intensity for club settings. Closing the release, Plastic Robots introduce a groove-led rework that adds a rhythmic dynamic, bridging melodic elements with a late-night sensibility. Together, the remixes complement the atmosphere of the original production while offering two contrasting takes tailored for different moments on the floor.
Mona Chrome, who co-founded Unheard Music alongside Far&High and pizzaaftersex in 2025, plays an integral role in defining the label’s creative outlook. Through her productions, she explores the space between artistic expression and club culture while helping guide the label’s direction. A Belarusian DJ and producer, Mona Chrome is recognised for her fusion of atmospheric Techno, melodic Indie Dance and raw analogue sound. Her work is characterised by immersive musical storytelling, cinematic depth and a commitment to authenticity, values that inform both her artistic journey and the ethos of Unheard Music.
