The accompanying visual cleverly mirrors the song’s themes, placing Dani in traditionally shared activities, pool, chess and card games, but entirely on her own, reinforcing its sense of emotional isolation.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dani Offline is a songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist whose vintage inspired sound has earned praise from artists including SZA, Questlove and Jill Scott. Balancing her music career with a PhD in Comparative Literature, she continues to carve out a distinctive space where thoughtful storytelling, analogue production and soulful songwriting meet. With ‘weary soul’, Dani further cements herself as one of the most compelling new voices in modern soul.
