Speaking about the track, SABRI explains that it was inspired by one of the darkest periods of her life, when she felt overwhelmed by her thoughts and emotions. Through conversations with God and a growing sense of purpose, the song became a turning point, a declaration of strength and a refusal to let fear or negativity define her.
Raised in Amsterdam by a Moroccan father and Algerian mother, SABRI has steadily built a reputation for blending elements of R&B, soul, pop and afrobeats into a distinctive sound. Following collaborations with artists including Full Crate, Yung Bleu and Olamide, as well as the release of her emotionally driven EP What I Feel Now, Voices In My Head continues her run of deeply personal, compelling releases.
Raw, reflective and ultimately uplifting, Voices In My Head reinforces SABRI’s place as one of contemporary R&B’s most emotionally authentic voices.
