Multi-platinum Canadian rock outfit Theory of a Deadman have announced their highly anticipated return to the UK with a headline run scheduled for February 2027. Dubbed “The Barricade Tour,” the upcoming trek marks the band’s first live dates on British soil since their triumphant tour in 2023.
Formed in 1999 in North Delta, British Columbia, the quartet – consisting of Tyler Connolly, Dave Brenner, Dean Back, and Joey Dandeneau – initially carved out a massive international following through their signature post-grunge and alternative metal style. Over nearly three decades, they have secured twelve Top 10 hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, powered by massive rock anthems like “Bad Girlfriend,” “Hate My Life,” and the double-platinum smash “Not Meant To Be.” The band’s sonic trajectory has continually expanded to incorporate elements of pop, acoustic, and country-inflected storytelling, as highlighted by their poignant, socially conscious 2017 hit single “Rx (Medicate)” and their freshly released single, “Barricade.”
The winter tour kicks off on 5th February 2027 at Nottingham’s legendary Rock City and will weave through a selection of major venues before wrapping up at the Torquay Arena. “We cannot wait to get back to the UK to play again for some of the greatest fans on the planet!” enthuses frontman Tyler Connolly. “It’s been way too long!!!”
Pre-sale tickets are officially live as of Wednesday 20th May, with general public ticket sales launching on Friday 22nd May at 10:00 AM local time via the band’s official website.
