Akrobat drops the moody new cut, Dirty Gathering

Akrobat’s “Dirty Gathering” is a striking new release from Dublin, Ireland. It’s got a moody bass line from the start of the track, and as soon as those vocals come in, I was personally reminded of the late ’90s rock scene. This one is reminding me of those early afternoon rides in the car listening to some alternative music with my dad.

    … amoody Dublin alt-rock slow-burner blending Radiohead-like textures, ’90s nostalgia, and genre-fusing brilliance.

It’s quite a genre-bending blend of alt-rock, arty rock, and indie textures. It’s got that kind of slow-burner feel to it, which will lure you in and keep you hooked on every second. With hundreds of thousands of plays on their music since the band started releasing their songs back in 2022, they are certainly an underrated band within the Irish music scene.

With sounds that remind me of Radiohead, and two more shoegazy ’90s bands, and groovy soul music, it seems like this band has really hit the nail on the head when it comes to mixing genres together. If you want an experience for your ears, then you need to listen to “Dirty Gathering” as soon as you can.
