Andy Smith drops his raw new effort, No Way Home

Andy Smith’s “No Way Home” transforms a frustrating real-life travel ordeal into an uplifting and cinematic indie rock anthem. The new song from the Adelaide singer-songwriter is one of those raw and honest efforts that hits you from the off.

… aheartfelt indie rock anthem that turns adversity into an uplifting, cinematic, and thoroughly engaging listening experience.

Andy Smith drops his raw new effort, No Way Home

It’s all layered with delightful piano tones, crisp percussion, and, of course, his direct and emotive vocals. The chorus, around the one-and-a-half-minute mark, is very cinematic and atmospheric, with some organs joining the proceedings and helping to elevate it further.

Towards the latter half of the track, there is a delightful guitar solo, which was, for me at least, confirmation that I was going to be listening to this song once more.

Also, once that guitar solo is out of the way, you have this incredibly atmospheric final minute, which is sure to grip any new listeners and have them delving into his previous releases. With music stretching as far back as 2004, he certainly has lots to offer if you are new to his music.
