CHALK release brand new single Get F*cked

Belfast post-punk/electronic specialistsCHALKreturn with ferocious new offering‘Get F*cked’(videohere), outtoday (July 2nd)viaALTER Music.

Teaming with esteemed Irish producerKettama, the band revealed: “We met Kettama (Evan) last year at our London show at Village Underground and ended up being big fans of each other’s work. ‘Get F*cked’ was going to be on our album but we didn’t work it out in time and so it sat for a while until we worked on it with Evan who gave it a new lease of life from the demo to the track.”

Marking their first slice of new material since the release of critically acclaimed debut LP‘Crystalpunk’(#1 in UK Dance Album Chart) – which featured inThe Guardian and NME’s ‘Top Albums of 2026 So Far’and saw them named inRolling Stone UK’s ‘Future Of Music 2026’–‘Get F*cked’precedes their biggestLondon headlineryet at Camden’s iconicElectric BallroomonJuly 24th, before a debut appearance atLollapalooza, Chicagoand hometown support slot withIDLES.

Built on the musical history that shaped them: the punk scene of the ‘70s and ‘80s, and the rave culture of the ‘90s through to today, these subcultures undoubtedly influenced CHALK’s first full-length effort and resonated far and wide upon its arrival earlier this year. A collision of punk and electronic music, ‘Crystalpunk’’s identity was established through punk gigs and on dancefloors; the cultural and political choices made in these rooms established the foundations for the duo’s generation to escape the bombs, bullets, and binaries of the past.

Partnering with NYC headquartered labelALTER Musicfor their debut record and spearheaded by award-winning musicians and filmmaker duoRoss CullenandBenedict Goddard, CHALK have certainly experienced a meteoric rise in recent times. Ticking off severalsold-outUK and European headline tourdates, the band have also made debut appearances at the likes ofGlastonburyandBilbao BBKand supported peers inFontaines D.C.andSprints. Continuing to captivate the press landscape(The Guardian, The Independent, The Standard, UNCUT, NME, DIY, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, Rolling Stone UK, So Young, Clash, The New Cue, Wonderland, Rough Trade, Consequence of Sound, Paste),in addition to widespread support across theBBC Radio 1 (Jack Saunders, Sian Eleri, Alyx Holcombe, Sian Eleri)andBBC 6 Music (Huw Stephens (Maida Vale live session), Steve Lamacq, Nick Grimshaw, Lauren Laverne, Deb Grant, Nathan Shepherd, Emily Pilbeam)airwaves, the band’s growing and rabid fanbase is accelerating at an enormous rate, ahead of what promises to be a significantly busy second half of 2026.

Produced alongsideKettama,CHALK’s‘Get F*cked’is out now viaALTER Musicand available on all digital platforms.
