Correction: The original version of this story described James Taylor as arriving in the UK next week, when as one of our readers has pointed out in the comments, he’s already played Scotland and is in fact doing a range of UK dates including Halifax tomorrow and Scarborough. As a Liverpool-based website, we are weary of the London-centric nature of media as much as anyone so sincere apologies for this ommission.

One of the most influential singer-songwriters of the modern era, James Taylor returns to the UK this month including his first London performance in three years when he takes to the stage at The O2 Arena on Thursday July 23rd, accompanied by his renowned All-Star Band. Tickets are available from this link.

With a catalogue that includes enduring classics such as Fire and Rain, You’ve Got a Friend, Carolina in My Mind, Sweet Baby James, and How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You), Taylor remains one of the defining voices of American music. His London performance offers UK audiences a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s most celebrated live performers.

Across a career spanning more than five decades, Taylor has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and become one of the most respected and successful recording artists of his generation. His accolades include multiple GRAMMY Awards, induction into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Kennedy Center Honors, and the National Medal of Arts.

In 2015, Taylor achieved the first No. 1 album of his career with Before This World, while American Standard earned him the 2021 GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, making him the first artist to achieve a Billboard Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.

    James Taylor UK Dates 2026:

    July 16th: Pierce Hall, Halifax
    July 23rd: O2 Arena, London
July 25th: Open Air Theatre, Scarborough
