ADE Finalises First Edition Of ADE Lab On Track Academy Style Talent Program – Electric Mode

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has finalized the full program and speaker roster for ADE Lab On Track, its dedicated three-day academy program nurturing the next generation of music producers and performing artists. Returning to Lab Village at Westergas, this year’s edition places an emphasis on community, collaboration and creation. Designed exclusively for accepted ADE Lab On Track participants, the curated curriculum bridges grassroots emerging talent with pioneers shaping global club culture.

    Key additions & program highlights:

-Beyond Genre: Daria Kolosova on Building a DJ Set
In a practical masterclass, Ukrainian DJ Daria Kolosova shares how she builds a DJ set, connects tracks across genres and BPMs, and reads the room. Through live CDJ examples, participants discover how to create a story, adapt to the crowd and take a set somewhere unexpected.

-DJ Mag’s How I DJ with Djrum
Known for his cross-genre sets, Djrum takes attendees inside his creative process in this live edition of DJ Mag’s How I DJ. From vinyl DJing fundamentals to improvisation and mixing techniques, Djrum shows how he navigates genres and builds unpredictable performances.

-RA Exchange Live with John Talabot|
John Talabot joins Resident Advisor’s Chloe Lula to discuss his creative approach and his first full-length album in 14 years. Released under his alias OR, ‘Music for Empty Stadiums’ explores a euphoric take on ambient music through 17 almost entirely beatless tracks.

-From Playing to Producing: Production 101 with Bambii
In a hands-on workshop, DJ and producer Bambii introduces the fundamental tools and processes behind making a track, from exploring a DAW to turning ideas into music. Open to everyone, with FLINTA+ artists particularly encouraged to join.

These newly added sessions join previously revealed highlights, including a rare, in-depth dialogue between Detroit legend Moodymann and Chicago multi-instrumentalist Peven Everett, rethinking how you DJ with Grace Dahl, Adam Beyer reflecting on 30 years of Drumcode, DJ Mag’s track breakdown with Sammy Virji, and more.
