Amal Nemer Marks Major Moment With Besame Lento – Electric Mode

Spring is set to be a defining moment for Miami-based Venezuelan/Lebanese artist Amal Nemer, with a new release and a major debut performance happening within weeks of each other.

Nemer teams up with internationally acclaimed producer TWENTY SIX for ‘Besame Lento’, out May 22 via Mood Child Records. The track is a warm, rolling house sound for summer, with sun-soaked grooves, subtle melodies, and a sensual lead vocal. The melancholy horn details add depth, balancing emotion, rhythm and late-night energy on the record.

The release is on Mood Child, the label founded by Sirus Hood and Manda Moor, who won the title of Hype Label of the Year at the Beatport Awards 2025. With ‘Besame Lento’ the imprint continues to push its forward-thinking house sound while giving Nemer another strong moment in an already active year.

Just two weeks later, on 5th June, Nemer will make her debut at one of the most iconic venues in electronic music, Club Space Miami. She will play The Terrace as part of the special event, WHYNOTUS vs. Nervous Records, celebrating the 30th anniversary remix of Funky Green Dogs’ timeless 1996 club smash, ‘Fired Up’.

The line up features a great mix of Miami heritage and modern house talent, including Oscar G, Malóne Morez, Jay De Lys, Nacho Scoppa and Mai Iachetti. For Nemer, the performance is a big step as she brings her percussion-led, tech house-rooted sound to one of the world’s most respected dancefloors.

Amal Nemer has continued to build a sound that moves between edgy tech house, warm Afro influences and melodic house textures with releases on labels including Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground and Nervous Records. Her music is about connection, using rhythm to connect people across cultures and across the dancefloors.

‘Besame Lento’ and her forthcoming debut at Club Space are another milestone in an exciting 2026 story for Amal Nemer, an artist growing with confidence, identity and international momentum.
