Dane Carter Releases La Brisa EP On Tikuna Trax – Electric Mode

Dane Carter has over 15 years of experience behind the decks. He has shared the stage with artists such as Artbat, Fisher, Alex Wann, Moojo, Themba, Liva K, Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, Sasson, and many more. His productions are signed on prestigious labels such as SwitchLab, Café de Anatolia, and Sunset Gathering, among others.

He collaborates with artists including Idd Aziz, NAE (SA), Mavhungu, Cali Bee, Bebo, and Lucas Reyes. This recognition led him to be featured among the Top 30 Café de Anatolia artists to follow in 2024, with several tracks selected for official Café de Anatolia compilations, including Oriental Express, curated and mixed by Billy Esteban. His music is also broadcast on renowned radio stations such as Ibiza Live Radio, Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio (Spain), FG Chic, Radio FG (France), and My House Radio (USA).

Supported by renowned artists such as Emanuele Esposito, Aaron Sevilla, Enzo Siffredi, Jamiie, DR Feel, Klement Bonelli, Monkey Safari, and Rialians On The Earth, his sets offer a truly unique experience, taking listeners on a journey through rich and diverse sounds blending Afro House, Afro Tech, Melodic House, Indie Dance, and Tech House.

    1) Can you share the story or inspiration behind this track?

I’ve always been passionate about Brazilian music and culture. I’m also a big fan of Brazilian artists such as Maz and Antdot, who have been pioneers in blending Afro House with Brazilian musical influences. Their work has been a major source of inspiration for me throughout the creation of this EP.

    2) What was your production process for this EP?

I rely heavily on sample packs, which I extensively rework and reshape to create a groove that truly reflects my own sound. From there, I compose the chords to bring the emotion I’m looking for, and that’s when the magic happens.

    3) Do you have any exciting projects, shows, or collaborations on the horizon? Or recent career highlights you’re especially proud of?

Last year in Dubai, I met an incredible DJ named Mario Bazouri. After connecting, I invited him to collaborate on a track called “Less You Know”. The release is scheduled for this summer on Wired, the label run by Enzo Siffredi. It was a great experience bringing our musical visions together on this project.

    4) What’s been the most rewarding part of your journey as an artist/DJ so far?

I come from a small village in the French countryside, and today I have a lot of stories to tell. I’ve played in places like Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Amsterdam, Phuket, and Dubai. But I think the most memorable moment of my career so far was performing at the Bagatelle Race Festival during the Abu Dhabi F1 weekend, alongside artists like FISHER and CamelPhat.

    5) Before we wrap up, is there anything you’d like readers to know?

I would just like people to know that everything I do comes from passion and emotion. I’m grateful for every step of this journey and for everyone who supports my music.

Dane Carter’s ‘La Brisa EP’ is out now and available to purchase here.
