M07 Returns With A New High Energy Melodic House Track – Electric Mode

Titled ‘Sugar Rush’, it combines pop elements with the dark side of electronic music. It takes you on a journey of lust, temptation and disconnection. His latest project was first released in his live performance film ‘SIGNAL’. It had an incredible debut at Amsterdam Dance Event, selling out all four showings on the premiere night at the legendary Koninklijk Theatre Tuschinski. EU tour and YouTube release to follow, with the full EP out early 2027. ‘Sugar Rush’ is currently available to stream on M07’s independent label Key Factory Music.

M07 was born in Los Angeles but now lives in Spain. He has been heavily influenced by his time in Kyiv. Having lived there for a decade, M07 and his family had to flee the war. His artist name comes from the highway that runs between Kyiv and Warsaw, a route taken by millions fleeing Ukraine in 2022. M07 has been heavily inspired by music, which has led to the creation of the ‘SIGNAL’ film. The first single off the project, ‘Broken’, has received incredible support from some of the biggest platforms and publications such as DJ Mag, Numéro, METAL Magazine and Beatportal.

‘Sugar Rush’ is a high-energy track combining some of the best elements of dance music with a dark feel. It features punchy beats and strong melodies. It contains synth arpeggios with acid elements running throughout, and unique vocals. The track started as a personal take on a common story. A guy chasing instant gratification but then leaving as soon as the sun comes up. However, whilst writing the track M07 changed his mind about it and worked with Deza to give the track a different perspective. This gives the girl full control of the situation. She knows that the situation isn’t going to last long so decides when to leave. “Some songs are confessionals. This one is an alibi,” says M07.

Co-writer Deza has an amazing background in songwriting. Recently working with INJI and Chelsea Cutler. She also releases music under the name googly eyes with Tove Lo and Flume on Pretty Swede Records.

M07’s music reflects his life. Moving around, reinventing, and living in Kyiv between 2013 and Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022. However, his passion for music started a lot earlier. He was producing music that was being played on dance radio in Los Angeles whilst still in high school. He has been writing music for the past 25 years and has created around 300 tracks but never really shared them with anyone except his friends. His debut EP ‘KM0’ was released in February 2026.

In addition to producing, M07 has a wealth of experience in the music industry. In the early 2000s, he was promoting raves in LA and organising the largest drum and bass event on the West Coast with around 5000 people attending. He has also had a range of roles in the industry, including talent buyer, booking agent, manager and software developer focusing on the live music industry. He had never really performed on stage, but with his ‘SIGNAL’ project he has combined all of his experiences. It has a more gritty, distorted and hardware-driven sound.

A version of ‘Sugar Rush’ was also recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios for the ‘SIGNAL’ live performance film. It was produced by M07 and a talented team. The film will be going on tour and online, meaning M07 is entering a new era in his career. After decades of creating behind the scenes, he is finally putting his unique sound to the forefront.

‘Sugar Rush’ is out now on Key Factory Music. Get itHERE.
