Phonox Announces Circulate A Multi-Venue Series Connecting Three South London Venues – Electric Mode

Phonox announces the launch of Circulate, a new forward-thinking summer event series that connects three South London venues, Phonox, M.O.T., and Jumbi, into a day-to-night programme. Curated as a distinctive new format designed to challenge industry norms, Circulate will move audiences across each venue, bringing together different environments, musical programming, and communities within one cohesive experience in South London, elevating the capital’s clubbing landscape.

Commencing on May 16th, Circulate’s inaugural season will feature a host of leading international artists, DJs, and selectors that include AliA, Angel D’lite, Bibi Seck, Binh, Black Rave Culture, Bok Bok, Derrick Carter, DJ Assault, DJ Fett Burger, DJ Nobu, DJ Paypal, DJ Swisha, Egyptian Lover, Fiyahdred, FREAKENSTEIN, Gerd Janson, Heléna Star, Krystal Klear, Laurence Guy, Leon Vynehall, LOVEFOXY, Mafalda, Make A Dance, MiNNA, Optimo (Espacio), Papa Nugs, Paula Tape, Rahaan, Powder, S Candalo (THC X DHC), Soichi Terada, System Olympia, Shy One, Tia Cousins, Young Marco, Zack Fox, Yu Su, Kiara Scuro, Jennifer Loveless, Jeremy Underground, Jitwam, Ikonika, Josey Rebelle and Introspekt.

The series will be anchored within Phonox’s established club environment and include M.O.T.’s Open-Air space, introducing an outdoor daytime setting, while Jumbi will offer a unique social and cultural environment that bridges both daytime and evening programming. This sets a new era for South London’s electronic music community.

    Sammi Hussien from Phonox comments:

“We’re collectively excited to launch this new event series and format, bringing together three cornerstones of South London’s nightlife for the first time. Over the course of three months, we will host some of our favourite artists from across the world and place them in the heart of the capital city. South London now has a dedicated, season-long, day and night party series for clubbers to enjoy across the summer.”

Circulate is positioned not only as an extension of each venue’s existing identity but also as a standalone platform for collaboration, programming, and contemporary club culture. The series brings together the venues collectively, while actively presenting a unified vision for the future rooted in South London’s vibrant music and nightlife culture.

The project centres on experiential diversity, allowing movement between venues, with audiences participating in different environments, soundscapes and atmospheres within South London’s nightlife ecosystem. The programming approach promises a continuous curatorial thread, with each lineup contributing to Circulate’s wider narrative, rather than standalone bookings, marking a new evolution in London’s renowned clubbing landscape.

The programme reflects the creative energy of South London, highlighting the role of independent venues in shaping contemporary club culture. By connecting these venues, Circulate presents a collective expression of the area’s growing influence, while creating new opportunities for artists, audiences and collaborators to unify in what will be a defining new format for London’s nightlife.
