    Alsogood – 1000 Smiles (Album)

Italian producer and multi instrumentalist Alsogood (Francesco Lo Giudice) returns with 1000 Smiles, a concise yet deeply expressive new album arriving April 24 via Island Records on both vinyl and digital.

Clocking in at just 26 minutes, the record feels intentional and tightly composed, blending hip hop structure with the fluidity and warmth of contemporary jazz. It is arguably Alsogood’s most complete body of work to date, a project that leans into both precision and spontaneity, shaped by a process that moved from solo studio sessions in Milan to a live, immersive recording in the hills near Vicenza.

Lead single “Feliz” sets the tone, drawing on Brazilian inspired grooves and layered melodic ideas. Built around the interplay between vocals and horns, the track balances laid back foundations with a vibrant, soulful energy, a dynamic that runs throughout the album.

A key part of 1000 Smiles lies in its collaborative moments. Canadian artist Datsunn appears on “Beautiful Things,” bringing a subtle Motown warmth through rich harmonies, while Italian MC Johnny Marsiglia features on “2.30am,” adding a grounded, lyrical counterpoint shaped by both musical chemistry and personal connection.

At its core, 1000 Smiles is an exploration of freedom, where beat driven structures meet improvisational instinct. It is a project that reflects Alsogood’s evolving sound while reclaiming a sense of creative control, bridging genres without losing identity.
