North London MC Capo Lee joins forces with Coventry heavyweight Pa Salieu for his latest offering, ‘What’s Wrong?’, a dark, genre-blurring release that showcases both artists at their uncompromising best.
Built around brooding basslines, unpredictable electronic textures and infectious Afro-inspired rhythms, the track sees Capo reflecting on the dangers and realities of street life before his music career took off. His distinctive flow cuts through the atmospheric production, while Pa Salieu brings his trademark intensity with a fiery guest verse that takes the track to another level.
Having spent the past decade establishing himself as one of the UK’s most versatile MCs, Capo Lee continues to push boundaries between grime, UK rap and electronic music. With collaborations spanning everyone from AJ Tracey and Jme to Ahadadream and p-rallel, he’s built a reputation for refusing to be boxed into one sound.
‘What’s Wrong?’ is another example of that fearless approach, combining experimental production with sharp lyricism and undeniable energy. It’s a powerful link-up between two distinctive voices in UK music and further proof that Capo Lee remains an artist determined to carve his own lane.
