    Czafari. – (WYWB) (Single)

“(WYWB)” – short for Whatever You Wanna Be – is Czafari.’s dreamy, soulful affirmation about trusting your own journey. Written from the perspective of an independent artist from Tipton in the West Midlands, the track explores the imposter syndrome that can come with building a creative career independently. Instead, (WYWB) challenges that mindset, reminding listeners that there is no set timeline for success and that becoming who you want to be is a journey in itself.

Blending soul, pop and jazz influences, the track has a dreamy and uplifting quality, while the voices of Czafari.’s R&B choir, Sing Out of Trouble, transform the song’s personal affirmation into a collective one. The single is supported by Youth Music’s NextGen Fund, helping Czafari. continue to develop her music and creative practice.

The single follows her previous release, which was featured on BBC Radio 6 Music’s BBC Introducing Mixtape with Emily Pilbeam. With (WYWB), Czafari. turns the uncertainty of figuring it all out into something hopeful – a reminder to embrace where you are, keep moving at your own pace and give yourself permission to imagine where you could go next.
