Kalisway – Not So Sweet (Single)

Toronto’s Kalisway returns with her latest single, “Not So Sweet”, a funk-infused slice of alternative R&B that further cements her reputation as one of Canada’s most exciting emerging artists.

Built around nostalgic keys, layered vocals and infectious percussion, the track showcases Kalisway’s ability to blend smooth, soulful songwriting with contemporary R&B and funk influences. Effortlessly balancing raw emotion with polished production, “Not So Sweet” feels both intimate and instantly memorable.

The release marks the first in a series of new tracks set to arrive over the coming months, following a hugely successful period for the singer, songwriter and producer. Recent projects, including Take Me Back (World Of Eras) and Who Is Kalisway, have helped propel her to more than 10 million Spotify streams, with standout tracks such as “CAN’T TELL ME NOTHING” and “BA BUMPIN” attracting millions of plays.

Kalisway’s rise has also been reflected beyond streaming platforms, with major live performances across Canada, including a headline appearance at Toronto’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. Supported by leading publications and prominent playlist placements, she continues to build momentum on her own terms.

With “Not So Sweet”, Kalisway delivers another confident statement of intent, offering a glimpse of what promises to be an exciting next chapter.
