Born Khalid Khan, KayMuni has carved out a unique path in UK rap. Despite spending years behind bars, he built a loyal following through a series of acclaimed releases and viral prison freestyles, before returning with the UK Top 40 project Signed to the T. More recently, he marked his release with the seven-track EP More Muni More Freedom.
Having previously collaborated with artists including Clavish, Kwengface, Marnz Malone and Potter Payper, KayMuni steps out solo on “7AM” to deliver an introspective statement of intent. With another project expected later this summer, the Birmingham rapper’s comeback is showing no signs of slowing down.
