Shelana Azora x Richandell – Can't Trust (Single)

East London singer songwriter Shelana Azora teams up with Dutch producer and artist Richandell on Can’t Trust, a sleek R&B and hip hop collaboration that transforms heartbreak into a statement of self-worth. Built around soulful vocals, crisp production and emotionally honest lyricism, the single explores the moment when betrayal gives way to clarity, choosing resilience over regret.

Produced, written, mixed and mastered by Richandell, the track blends R&B with hip hop and global rhythmic influences, creating the perfect backdrop for Shelana’s powerful performance. Known for effortlessly moving between singing and rap, she delivers a confident vocal that reflects her continued artistic growth following previous releases including Epiphany.

The partnership began during a studio session in Amsterdam, with an instant creative connection that eventually led to the pair recording Can’t Trust at the iconic Wisseloord Studios. Richandell, whose career spans work with Sony Music, Top Notch and his own Rotterdam based Sound Co-Lab Studios, brings his polished production style to the collaboration, while Shelana’s heartfelt delivery ensures the song resonates long after the final note.

Rather than dwelling on the pain of a breakup, Can’t Trust channels disappointment into strength, making it an empowering R&B anthem that balances vulnerability with unwavering confidence.
