British house producer Sonic Soul Orchestra steps into a new chapter this spring with the launch of his record label People Watching, kicking things off alongside longtime collaborator Kathy Brown on “Good Inside.”
Led by Kathy’s unmistakable vocal, the track settles into a warm, feel good groove filled with rich basslines, bright brass, sweeping strings and crisp house rhythms. It strikes a balance between musicality and dancefloor energy, with a remix from S.K.O.D. adding a standout piano breakdown before sliding back into the groove.
The label marks a natural progression for Sonic Soul Orchestra, aka JP Firmin. After years touring globally, he reconnected with his house roots during the pandemic, leading to a steady run of releases on labels including Quantize, King Street and Groove Odyssey.
