    Valeria Miró – Guilty (Single)

    Valeria Miró – Guilty (Single)

Mexico City born, London based singer, songwriter and producer Valeria Miró returns with her latest single, ‘Guilty‘, a self produced blend of Latin pop, jazz, soul and funk that showcases her distinctive cross cultural sound.

Drawing inspiration from both Mexico City’s rich musical heritage and London’s thriving underground scene, Miró has carved out a style that feels both intimate and expansive. Influences ranging from Phoebe Bridgers and Lianne La Havas to Silvana Estrada and Rosalía can be heard woven throughout her work, alongside a growing confidence as a producer.

Written in the aftermath of an unexpected breakup, ‘Guilty’ channels the frustration and emotional confusion that linger when an ex refuses to fully let go. Rather than replying to those post breakup check in texts, Miró poured her thoughts into a song layered with rich vocal harmonies and intricate percussion, all recorded in her Hackney bedroom before being mastered at London’s Air Studios.

The result is a cathartic, genre blurring track with a simple takeaway: sometimes the best response is no response at all.

Originally launching her artist project from her parents’ closet in Mexico City, Miró has since found her creative footing in London, where her background in music production and passion for storytelling continue to shape an exciting and evolving musical world.
