Polish extreme metal titans Behemoth have joined forces with Massacre Records for the worldwide physical distribution of their upcoming exclusive release, I, Scvlptor. Scheduled for a simultaneous global street date on 4th September 2026, the unique body of work will be made available across CD, vinyl, cassette, and limited-edition box set configurations.
Comprising 40 minutes of previously unreleased material, I, Scvlptor acts as an autonomous full-length effort bridging the band’s historic roots with modern extreme textures. Beyond showcasing fresh compositions packed with the incendiary live energy that has made the band an arena-level global draw, the record also features resurrected versions of their earliest underground material alongside tribute tracks dedicated to the bands who originally inspired them.
“I, Scvlptor is Behemoth’s latest full-length release – an autonomous work that bridges our past with what is new and fresh,” frontmann Adam “Nergal” Darski explains. “We revisited our earliest material, reshaping it with a modern edge while preserving its ancient spirit. Get ready for a sonic pilgrimage forged at the highest level.”
The monumental partnership marks one of the most prestigious milestones in the 35-year history of Massacre Records. The announcement catches the Gdańsk-formed heavyweights right in the middle of an extraordinarily busy touring cycle. Following their current massive spring theatre tour across North America, the band will co-headline European arenas this autumn alongside Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral on the highly anticipated “In League with Satan” tour.
Official pre-orders for the physical editions of I, Scvlptor will launch on 1st June 2026, concurrently revealing the record’s final cover artwork and full track listing.
