Award-winning British blues and roots artist Sunjay has released his new single, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again,” ahead of an extensive run of UK headline dates. The track is the first taste of his tenth studio album, Split The Sheets, which is set for release on 18th September 2026 (pre-order now!).
Written by George Borowski, the single explores the darker side of human connection, though Sunjay intentionally paired the heartbreaking lyrics with a carefree, upbeat energy. “The whole thing’s got a slightly unhinged energy to it, which felt far more believable than pretending heartbreak always arrives quietly with an acoustic guitar,” Sunjay explains. The recording features screeching harmonica, sliding guitars, and a double Hammond solo, creating a sound that feels perpetually on the edge of running away with itself.

The release follows high-profile sessions on BBC Radio 2’s The Blues Show with Cerys Matthews and Jazz FM, highlighting Sunjay’s ability to blend blues, roots, and country influences with effortless authenticity. Fans will be able to hear the new material live for the first time starting this month, as the tour kicks off in the Forest of Dean.
