The Moshville Times – The Meffs reveal searing new single Disorder (Wake Up) ahead of second album – tons of tour dates too!

Essex-based punk duo The Meffs have unveiled their latest track, “Disorder (Wake Up)”, giving fans a second glimpse into their upcoming sophomore album Business. Scheduled for release on 11th September via FLG, the record follows a whirlwind 2025 that saw Lily (vocals/guitar) and Lewis (drums) grace stages at Glastonbury, Download, and 2000trees. Pre-order the album now.

The new single is a pointed commentary on the current political climate and the treatment of those seeking asylum. The band explains that the track is a call to “wake up” to the narratives used by the establishment to cause division. Accompanied by a music video featuring cameos from Frank Turner and members of Bad Cop Bad Cop and Booze & Glory, “Disorder (Wake Up)” encapsulates the raw, politically charged energy the duo is known for.

Produced by Dan Weller, Business promises 11 tracks of hard-hitting punk, ranging from the thirty-second blast of “Fight” to the self-deprecating journey of “Like Gravity”. The announcement comes as the band prepares for a massive run of dates, including a support slot for Joan Jett And The Blackhearts and an extensive autumn tour alongside the Levellers. Check out our latest live reviews for more grassroots punk energy.
