It’s chart time, folks, and this week sees Michael continue its reign at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart, holding firm at the top for a second week.

The Universal Pictures release, which tells the story of Michael Jackson’s life and legacy beyond the music, traces his journey from his early discovery as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 to becoming one of the most influential and ambitious entertainers of all time.

It remains ahead of Project Hail Mary, which stays at Number 2 this week. The sci-fi adventure has now spent another week inside the Top 2, continuing its strong run.

There is a big re-entry at Number 3 for Epic – Elvis Presley In Concert. The concert release lands ahead of Avatar – Fire and Ash, which rises one place to Number 4, continuing the blockbuster franchise’s presence.

Mortal Kombat 2 drops one place to Number 5, while this week’s highest new entry comes from The Magic Faraway Tree, which debuts at Number 6.

Based on Enid Blyton’s beloved children’s stories, The Magic Faraway Tree follows a modern family who relocate to the English countryside, where the children discover an enchanted tree filled with eccentric residents and ever-changing magical lands. The family fantasy stars Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield as parents Polly and Tim, with the children’s adventures bringing a nostalgic dose of magic to this week’s chart.

The Good Boy enjoys a major climb, rising 11 places to Number 7, while Scream 7 falls five places to Number 8 following its Top 3 placing last week.

Former Number 1 The Super Mario Galaxy Movie lands just inside the Top 10 at Number 9this week, while Wicked – For Good rounds out the Top 10 at Number 10, climbing back into the upper tier.
