Nia Archives links with Jorja Smith on Get Me Down, the fourth single from her forthcoming album Emotional Junglist, out July 17 via Island Records.
Built for jungle purists, the track pairs thudding basslines and fast breakbeats with Jorja’s atmospheric vocal. The accompanying video, directed by Nia and Jay Douglas, places the pair inside a futuristic silver club space. Jorja says:
I loved working with Nia in the studio; it was so inspiring watching her work. I’m such a fan of hers!
Nia adds:
Very gassed to have worked with Jorja on this album, my first ever feature. It feels like a full-circle moment since I did the Little Things remix in 2023.
The track follows Danger, Boys In Blue, and Vertical, pushing Nia’s alt-jungle sound into indie-pop and ’90s electronica.
Written through a year of falling in and out of love, the album explores romance beyond its polished surface, moving through attraction, pressure, rupture, and emotional recovery.
Nia begins a six-date UK B2B tour on July 11, with appearances alongside Clipz, Nectax, Worsleyy, Chimpo, Cheff The Boy, and Janaway.
