For Chicago lyricist B Soulo, the transition from Blac Kami to B Soulo represents a deeper return to the sound, identity, and perspective that have always been within him. His new album, DURAGS THE SUN, is the official pivot into that world, a soulful Hip-Hop project shaped by honesty, reflection, cultural memory, and an unmistakable love for lyricism.
From the opening moments of “WAY TOO LONG,” there is an immediate sense of release. The track feels reflective without becoming heavy, setting the emotional tone for a project that constantly looks inward while keeping its head up. “GARDEN” continues that feeling, bringing a more peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere that makes the listener feel like they are watching something grow from difficult circumstances.
