Welsh alt.rock trio and current Kerrang! cover stars Holding Absence have shared the title track for their upcoming fourth album, Modern Life Is Lonely.
It follows the news that the band were forced to delay the release of the record by a a number of weeks due to issues involved in manufacturing. But rather than letting fans wait for new music, the HA guys have decided to drop another single!
“After the release of our album was pushed back a few weeks, we knew we had to offer something special to our fans to tide them over until the new release day… And what better song to do that than the title track!,” says frontman Lucas Woodland.
“Modern Life Is Lonely – the song – is steeped in lo-fi, whilst still being able to juxtapose itself against one of the heaviest moments in our discography. We’re hoping this’ll get people even more excited for the whole record to drop in just under a month!”
