Echo & The Bunnymen – Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant, Ste Brannan, Simon Finley, Mike Smith and Peter Riley – have announced that their new album Apples For Isaac will be released by BMG on September 18.

The album features late Blondie drummer Clem Burke on 10 of its 11 tracks. As the band noted: “The mighty, legendary Clem Burke – longtime friend of Mac – was integral to the making of the album, and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion… love you Clem X”
