Polaris Festival 2026 Announces Four Nights of Electronic Music in Verbier – Electric Mode

Polaris Festival returns to the Swiss Alps in November 2026 to present the eleventh edition of the celebration that unites international DJs, electronic music pioneers and contemporary artists. Taking place over two weekends, 20–21 November and 27–28 November, Polaris explores the musical heritage and contemporary sounds of global club culture.

Founded in 2015, Polaris has become a place where generations of electronic music fans canmingle. Set in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier, in the Valais canton at 2,200 metres, Polaris has showcased the talents of Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, Larry Heard, Sven Väth, Moodymann and Nina Kraviz.

This year’s programme pays homage to the musical legacy and modern interpretations of the sounds from Detroit, Manchester, Paris and Berlin, as well as the house and disco rhythms of Ibiza. Each of the four nights will have its own distinct sonic identity as Polaris offers an insight into the different styles and eras of electronic music.

The festival’s first weekend will begin on Friday, 20 November, with the Swiss debut of Glitterbox, the internationally renowned party concept launched in Ibiza in 2014 by Defected founder Simon Dunmore. Celebrated for its unique blend of house music, disco, dancers and live entertainment, Glitterbox has developed a following across the globe at clubs and festivals. Set to bring its characteristic feel to Verbier, the line-up will feature Armand Van Helden, Horse Meat Disco and Jayda G, alongside Kirollus, Lloyd Nwagboso and Yasmin, to celebrate the exuberant sounds of the disco and house genres.

On Saturday, 21 November, Polaris focuses on the artists and movements that have been at the forefront of global electronic music culture. With the theme of uniting influential scenes that helped define electronic music as we know it today, the programme will bring together a special mix of live performance and DJ sets from some of the most inspirational figures within the Detroit, Manchester and Paris music scenes.

Amongst the highlights will be a rare live performance pairing Mad Mike Banks and A Guy Called Gerald, both making their Swiss debut, with Carl Craig performing for the first time since Polaris began in 2015. Another special collaboration is due to take place between Carl Craig and Moodymann, two iconic figures within the Detroit techno scene, who are set to perform back-to-back sets. DJ Deep and St Germain, alongside Khadija, Flo Real, Move D and Prosumer, will also make appearances. The line-up will celebrate the rich history of electronic music’s earliest scenes by unifying established trailblazers with new generations of artists.

The second weekend will begin on Friday, 27 November, with a programme that explores the influence of Berlin’s club culture and the internationally renowned record labels that have developed within the city.

DJ and record label owner Dixon (founder of Innervisions) will join forces with Swiss DJ and producer Jimi Jules for a special back-to-back set. The night will also showcase Reznik, representing Keinemusik, the Berlin-based collective whose music has secured its place internationally. Meera, Juli Lee and Laolu will complete the line-up – further celebrating Berlin’s status as a melting pot for club culture as their performances will draw on their respective musical heritages and contemporary interpretations of the city’s vibrant nightlife.

Polaris closes on Saturday, 28 November, with a line-up that reflects the diversity, creativity and innovation of techno’s different generations. Veteran DJ and producer extraordinaire Chris Liebing will appear on the bill with Deetron and Charlotte de Witte, joined by Inox Traxx and UFO95 who will provide the closing live performance. UFO95’s performance will serve as a fitting finale to a weekend of celebration in Verberier as techno’s legacy and contemporary interpretations will be explored.

The 2026 edition of Polaris will keep the venue format used in 2025 when the festival moved to Espace Saint-Marc in Verbier. The multi-purpose complex’s Main Stage can accommodate 1,800 people and will host the headline DJ programme. Outside of the Main Stage, the OFF programme will also return for both weekends of the festival, bringing an array of additional events to venues across the town, from daytime and evening events to a dedicated film screening.

Having marked its tenth anniversary in 2025, Polaris has created a programme for 2026 that unites the musical legacy and modern interpretations of the sounds from Detroit, Manchester, Paris and Berlin. Its eleventh edition will continue to provide a platform for international musical exchange and will connect generations of electronic music creators.

Tickets and further information are available on the official Polaris Festival website.
