BackRoad Gee ft: Pa Salieu – Spin Your Block (Single)

BackRoad Gee is back with a fresh chapter in his career, returning alongside longtime collaborator Pa Salieu on new single Spin Your Block. The track, produced by Brit-certified hitmaker JoffStar, blends melodic Afro influences with the energy and swagger that have made both artists standout voices in UK rap.

Taken from BackRoad Gee’s forthcoming EP Live In The Flesh, arriving on 17 July, the single explores themes of confidence, resilience and staying true to your roots. It also signals an artist expanding his sound while remaining firmly connected to the foundations that built his reputation.

Speaking on the release, BackRoad Gee revealed the track had been years in the making, with multiple beat changes before finally landing in its current form. Bringing Pa Salieu into the mix completed the vision, reuniting two artists whose chemistry first made waves on tracks like Party Popper.

Known for his explosive delivery and genre blending approach, BackRoad Gee has carved out a unique place in British music, collaborating with the likes of Chase & Status, Beenie Man and Dizzee Rascal, while becoming the only UK rapper to secure an official Jay-Z feature. Following a challenging period marked by personal loss and family responsibilities, the new music represents what he describes as a creative rebirth.

With Spin Your Block, BackRoad Gee reintroduces himself to fans old and new, making it clear that his hiatus is over and his focus is firmly on the future.
