Blake Baker shares the cinematic new single We Night Owls

Based in England, Blake Baker delivers “We Night Owls”, which is a cinematically stunning track. The opening sequence is a pure delight for my ears. The guitar tone is just stunning, and as soon as Blake’s vocals come in, you’ll be bowled over.

… acinematic, emotive indie gem blending stunning guitar work, heartfelt vocals, and atmospheric warmth.

What really hit me is that before the first minute is over, you have literally heard the highlights of the track. You have heard his crisp vocals, the tight percussion, the cinematic melodies, and the warmth of the guitar.

The whole track is wrapped in this glowing hug, almost. It feels like an old friend has come back into life and has made it better again. It’s moody, emotive, and has got cinematic touches left, right, and centre.

Recorded with Biddy Lockett in his Northampton studio, this song captures the tension between an artist’s ambition and their everyday responsibility, which is something that a lot of musicians can relate to. But nonetheless, this is nothing short of a sensational track by the English singer-songwriter, once again showcasing his incredible talent. If you like this, then be sure to check out his previous tracks on his Spotify that stretch back six years; plenty of good stuff awaits.
