Philadelphia rapper Armani White kicks off a new era with ‘COST.’, an infectious, 2007 inspired anthem that flips rap’s obsession with spending money on its head.
Described by Armani as a “Cheap Man’s Anthem”, ‘COST.’ finds him making saving sound just as appealing as splashing the cash. “Everyone raps about how much money they can spend, it’s boring to me,” he explains. “But what if you make saving money sound cool?” The track follows fan led release ‘PRESS.’ and serves as the first official single from a new body of work, with Armani’s typically playful personality firmly at the forefront.
The West Philadelphia native has already built a huge global following through tracks including ‘BILLIE EILISH.’, ‘GOATED.’ and ‘SILVER TOOTH.’, alongside tours with T Pain, Jessie Reyez and Vince Staples and appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. With ‘COST.’, Armani White sets the tone for a colourful and characteristically fun next chapter.
