Malika ft: Kairo Keyz – Go (Rudimental Remix) (Single)

Malika’s UK Funky anthem ‘Go’ gets a Rudimental D&B makeover featuring Kairo Keyz.

Seventeen years after helping define the UK Funky movement, Malika’s iconic anthem “Go” has returned with a fresh new twist. Released via Relentless Records, the track has been reimagined by Rudimental, who transform the original into a high energy Drum & Bass roller, while rising UK rapper Kairo Keyz adds a sharp lyrical edge.

The remix arrives as the original enjoys a remarkable second life, going viral on TikTok and racking up more than 120,000 daily streams. Rather than simply revisiting a classic, the new version bridges generations of UK dance music, blending the roots of UK Funky with the modern energy of D&B and rap.

Speaking about the release, Malika reflected on the song’s enduring legacy, saying “‘Go’ truly belongs to the culture” and describing her partnership with Relentless Records as a blessing after retaining ownership of the track throughout its journey.

Originally released in 2009, “Go” became one of the defining records of the UK Funky era, helping soundtrack dancefloors across the country and cementing Malika’s place as one of the genre’s standout voices. Its recent resurgence has introduced the track to a new generation, proving its appeal is as strong today as it was at the height of the movement.

With Rudimental’s festival ready production and Kairo Keyz’s guest verse, this latest version is set to give the classic another lease of life, taking one of UK Funky’s most recognisable tracks firmly back into the clubs.
