MEETCH, TLUXX And Carly Lind Unite For Progressive House Anthem Thunder – Electric Mode

With Amsterdam Dance Event kicking off the start of another big week in electronic music, MEETCH and TLUXX have come together to release their latest collaboration featuring Carly Lind.

‘Thunder’ has a beautiful Progressive House melody with a great sense of energy. The bass of this track has deep and rolling basslines with some punchy drums. As the song begins to progress, there are some beautiful synth-layered melodies, detailed rhythms and interesting progression throughout. This is paired with a beautiful ethereal vocal from Carly Lind, which lifts the track to a huge crescendo. MEETCH and TLUXX have created a track that doesn’t rely too much on drops but have a great knowledge of how to create tension. Each section of the track is paced perfectly.

MEETCH was inspired to create ‘Thunder’ due to the unpredictability of relationships.
“Thunder is like a memory of the good and bad times with ex-partners and friendships. Early days in new relationships, there’s so much rush and excitement at the time. But similar to a storm, it all ends up calming down and ending. It just depends how you look at it. Sometimes storms are super scary and even damaging. Could go the same way with relationships and people you meet. I know I’ve had my fair share of horror stories and bad times with people. Just like a storm, the cycle repeats. Just like a song, you repeat the songs you like. Tune in to Thunder!”

TLUXX comments on how easy the track was to create, with Carly Lind being a key part.
“‘Thunder’ came together so easily. Writing this vocal with Carly was a flawless collaboration. When it comes to electronic music, who better to work with than an actual robot? Pulse Theory vs Robotic Rumble, and we did just that.”

Carly Lind was inspired by reflecting on previous relationships and how people don’t always realise how valuable someone is until they are gone.
“I was thinking about my past relationships when writing this. How people really never appreciate everything you do until you’re gone and thought this could literally be a whole song and more. So I brought the “you’re gonna miss me when you’re gone” lyrics to them both and they just ran with it.”

During ADE, the two producers teamed up and had a pop-up together at Amsterdam’s Bar Bacan on Friday 23rd October from 3 pm-8:30 pm. They represented Robotic Rumble (MEETCH) and Pulse Theory (TLUXX). Guests included Castor & Pollux, Hel:sløwed, AFTERUS, Aldor and Rikki (winner of the DJ contest at Tomorrowland). This track brings two unique electronic music artists together with a beautiful melody. The track is centred around Carly Lind’s vocals
